ÉireJapan ...Paddy Keenan Frankie Gavin & Junji Shirota

They started to get together in 2003 in USA

Toured Minnesota,Virginia,Georgia,Illinoi,New York and more.

Keenan is a master of the uilleann pipes,

Gavin plays the fiddle; Shirota plays the banjo and guitar.

This trio combine element of Trad Irish music ,American Blue Grass and also Japanese old folk music. This is an amazing example of cultural fusion.

Mareka Naito(Fiddle) join in on this album.

エアー・ジャパンはイーリアン・パイプスのパディ・キーナン、フィドルのフランキー・ギャビン、ギター・バンジョーの城田純二によるトリオ。

2003年にアメリカで結成後、ミネソタ・バージニア・ジョージア・イリノイ・ニューヨークなど、各地で公演を行った後、活動を休止。

2015年に再結成した。

彼らの演奏は紛れも無いトラッド・アイリッシュであると同時に、アメリカや日本の音楽の要素も含んでいる唯一無二の存在である。

このアルバムでは、ゲストとして内藤希花(フィドル)が参加している。
